Importantly, support and guidance throughout the Safety-Scheme assessment process is provided at no additional charge, ensuring members receive expert support and guidance every step of the way.
This partnership provides a strong foundation for a mutually beneficial relationship, offering The Scaffolding Association members access to a reliable partner who can deliver independent SSIP and CAS assessment services.

About The Scaffolding Association
The Scaffolding Association is the UK’s largest trade body for scaffold contractors, representing over 650 businesses across the sector. Its mission is to raise standards in safety, quality, and skills, ensuring that scaffolding companies operate to the highest levels of professionalism and competence.
It offers three membership levels:
- Associate Membership – open to all companies operating within the scaffolding industry, providing specialist information and support.
- Assessed Membership – for companies holding an in date Safety Schemes in Procurement Assessment Certificate .
- Audited Membership – which has been developed in line with The Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 03/24, and requires the use of health and safety question sets contained in the Common Assessment Standard, adapted specifically for scaffolding contractors.
